A Facebook change to make it harder to post notes from WordPress

Today I noticed a message on my Facebook page. I’ve been using Facebook since the early days of college beta, and the various notifications through the years about changing this feature or that feature have left me largely uninterested. But, the below kind of annoys me. I can understand that maybe not a whole lot of people use the WordPress to Facebook publishing features. I, for one, find it incredibly useful to have something I post here on my personal site (http://www.matthewmoldvan.com/blog) show up on my Facebook page automagically within minutes of posting it. This allows for more exposure for my site, and allows those who wouldn’t usually see my blog posts be able to read them as notes in Facebook.

What the hell, Facebook?

Changes to How You Share Content in Notes

You currently automatically import content from your website or blog into your Facebook notes. Starting November 22nd, this feature will no longer be available, although you'll still be able to write individual notes. The best way to share content from your website is to post links on your Wall. Learn more about notes.
